God loves us all

On Sunday, September 23, 2012, the sun rose and shone upon a rather special congregation who had converged on San Remo on the False Bay coast of Cape Town, South Africa.

The members of Rainbow-NAC Cape, together with their close families, gathered for a special annual divine service held specifically for them. This divine service was conducted by Apostle B. de Vries who was supported by Bishops C. Classen and G. February. After the introductory welcome from the Apostle, he conveyed the special greetings from District Apostle N. Barnes who had also provided a special bible text to serve as foundation for the divine service: “Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ” (2 Thessalonians 3:5). The central message to the Rainbow-NAC members was that God cares for them because He loves us all. The words of the hymn, "Come, everyone and join our song" with its endearing refrain "God loves us all" was sung and struck a chord in the hearts of the assembled congregation.

After the divine service, a short concert followed where the members of Rainbow-NAC regaled the audience with their impressive musical talents. They were complemented by excellent guest vocalists on the concert programme. The morning in San Remo drifted well into the afternoon as Rainbow-NAC members mingled in fellowship with one another whilst enjoying refreshments and posing for photographs with the Apostle. They could leave feeling blessed and thankful, for God truly loves us all.
