In Dialogue with the Church

Representatives of Rainbow-NAC meeting the PG Marriage, Family and Cohabitation in December 2013

Rainbow-NAC has an ongoing dialogue and a close cooperation with the New Apostolic Church since 2003. The Project Group Marriage, Family, and Cohabitation is the official liaison between the leadership of the Church and Rainbow-NAC.

Representatives of the Church meet with Rainbow-NAC on an annual basis to discuss the needs of LGBT brothers and sisters and to coordinate the common work. Reports of these meetings are also published on the official website of the New Apostolic church and in the official Church magazine "Our Family".

In many countries, regional groups cooperate closely with their Apostles and District Apostles. Upon the invitation of the Church, Rainbow-NAC leads workshops for congregations or youth groups, and is regularly visible at youth days or church conventions. Rainbow-NAC is currently working with the District Churches of Switzerland/Austria to create a guideline for individual pastoral care for LGBT brothers and sisters.
